Our Projects

DSC_0033-1Angel Project for SIDS

Thru this project the foundation provides all pediatricians and/or other medical personnel in Madison County, who see newborns with a SIDS onesie and brochure packed with SIDS information.  This allows pediatricians to take a few extra minutes to speak to new parents about SIDS, therefore raising awareness.  In the instance that a parent is not able to provide a safe sleep environment (crib) for their child, we purchase a crib and mattress for the family.

Toys for Kids

The Foundation has partnered with the Richmond Fire Department to help expand their annual toy program.  Together we provide bags of toys for over 400 children per year at Christmas.  The foundation has also provided stockings and bibles for each child.  *This (a toy drive) was actually the first thought we had for the foundation, as we lost Ty 10 days before Christmas.

Backpack Ministry

The Foundation works with God’s Outreach of Madison County to help provide for their Backpack Ministry.  Through this ministry, children who would otherwise go without or have very little over the weekend,  are sent home with backpacks that contain non-perishable food and drink items.  The Backpack Ministry is currently providing over 1000 backpacks per month throughout the school system.

Other Projects

We have also worked with our local Hospice and our Family Resource Center to provide when a need has arisen.
